Repair assessment
Damage we can assess
Describe what has happened when you call. You may be asked to bring the denture in so the damage can be inspected before a repair is confirmed.
- Cracks or fractures in the denture base
- Broken or detached denture teeth
- Damaged clasps on a partial denture
- Loose dentures that may need assessment
What to do now
Three simple steps
- 01
Collect the pieces
Place the denture and any fragments in a clean, protective container.
- 02
Do not use household glue
Leave the surfaces as they are so they can be properly assessed.
- 03
Call before travelling
Explain the damage and confirm when the clinic can see you.
Is it a routine adjustment or reline?
If your denture is loose or uncomfortable but not broken, use the online calendar to request a routine appointment.
Helpful information
Emergency repair questions
Can my denture be repaired the same day?
Repair timing depends on the damage, required materials and current availability. Call before travelling so the clinic can discuss your situation. A same-day repair cannot be guaranteed.
Should I glue a broken denture myself?
Avoid household glue or DIY repair kits, as they can make professional repair more difficult and may not be suitable for use in the mouth.
What should I bring?
Bring the denture and every piece you can safely collect. Keep the pieces together in a clean container and do not try to force them back into place.
